My Journey

I arrive at ICF Life Coaching from an unusual angle: In 2017, I started performing standup comedy. I found that audiences could relate to my honest portrayal of what it’s like to be alive in these incredibly fast-paced times, especially as a sensitive person with a messy life.

I realized how many others struggled with feeling clarity on their day-to-day challenges.

There is an interesting relationship between standup comedy and coaching. In many ways, they’re opposites. Standup is a monologue, while coaching is a conversation. You might even be surprised how little ICF coaches say during a session, because they focus on deep listening to ask powerful questions at key moments.

What they have in common is perceptual awareness. That is my greatest strength as a comedian, improviser, and ICF life coach. I assist in connecting the dots so my clients can develop a stronger awareness of their operating beliefs and what they really want and need.

The Process

Partners in Conversation

ICF Coaching aims to create a space for freedom of expression, where you can let your thoughts and feelings breathe.

Uplift and Uphold

ICF Coaches uphold the client’s authority over their own life. I believe in each client’s resourcefulness, creativity, and wisdom — sometimes an outside perspective helps you see it, too.

Gently Challenge

Using the THRIVE framework, ICF Coaches employ careful questioning and observations to help you round corners in your life.

Compound Interest

We’re after progress, not polish or perfection. Success can look different to each person session-to-session. What tiny shift could make a massive impact down the road?

  • "Genuinely passionate about coaching."

    Past Client

  • "Asking the right questions at the right time"

  • "I truly felt seen. I’ve already recommended them to others."
